Expertise and Focus

Professional Background

Education

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and have spent the majority of my career in private practice, specializing in trauma-focused work and somatic processing.

Certifications

I am a Certified Hakomi Therapist, and my work is deeply influenced by Kathy Kain’s touch and somatic practices to Allan Schores work on right brain psychotherapy, and Peter Levin and Bessel Van der Kolk's work on trauma and the body.

Experience

With close to two decades of experience in trauma focused therapy (strike and psychedelic rehabilitation), I have been privileged enough to be trusted to hold people's stories, nervous systems, and please for connections and relationship.

Specializations

Currently, my focus has expanded to include Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAPT). This work allows me to braid together my trauma-informed care and somatic expertise with the intentional use of psychedelic medicines. For clients who feel stuck in long-standing patterns of thought, emotion, physiology, and behavior, PAPT can offer new pathways toward healing where traditional therapies may have reached their limits.

Core Values

I sit within the Hakomi principles of mindfulness, non-violence, organcitiy, unity and mind-body holism. This allows clients to shift deep unconcious patterns that organize their lives by trusting in client's inherent capacity to heal.
